SACC provides before- and after-school care for children attending kindergarten through sixth grade at Lake Anne. *Children with special needs are fully included in all SACC centers.
KinderCare offers daycare programs for infants and toddlers, and before- and after-school programs for kids aged 5 to 12. KinderCare uses an education-focused curriculum to foster a developmental environment for kids.
Celebree School offers a daycare program with an educational curriculum with programs for infants, toddlers, preschool age, and before- and after-school programs for school-age children with transportation to/from school.
The Child Care Subsidy Program assists families in paying child care costs for children under age 13 *or children with special needs under age 18. If you are eligible and approved for the program, the subsidy program can pay a portion of your child care costs directly to the child care provider.
The FRC offers free webinars, confidential consultations, a lending library, and resources to help adults support the success of all students.
The Fairfax County Department of Family Services offers the Parenting Education Program, which provides a curriculum to teach positive and effective ways parents can interact with their children at every age and stage of development. They offer in-person and virtual classes, as well as classes in English and Spanish. *They can provide childcare during in-person
classes.
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) aims to improve the health of pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children under five years of age by offering: Supplemental nutritious food, Nutrition counseling and education, Breastfeeding support, and Information and referrals to health care and social services.
The Child Care Assistance and Referral Program provides resources and referrals to families about various center-based and family child care programs located throughout the county. This program also offers financial assistance for child care to eligible Fairfax County residents.
